I'm Today, on my way to IKEA, a real, live red fox ran across the road in front of me.

It was bitterly cold this afternoon, harsh wind chill.  But, here in this spot near the haystacks it was calm and bright.  Little birds everywhere:  I saw three male cardinals in flight, a tiny woodpecker searching for a snack, and other sparrows all enjoying this oasis from the cold.
