Shadows on the tool shed
It was bitterly cold this afternoon, harsh wind chill. But, here in this spot near the haystacks it was calm and bright. Little birds everywhere: I saw three male cardinals in flight, a tiny woodpecker searching for a snack, and other sparrows all enjoying this oasis from the cold.
